To optimize library and information services provided to Health Sciences
Campus faculty, staff and students, librarians from the Norris Medical
Library serve as liaisons to each HSC unit and department. Library liaisons
are available to:
- Help you to find information, e.g., for research or patient care
- Alert you to new resources in your field
- Inform you of new library services and programs
- Provide training for databases appropriate for your field
- Highlight and demonstrate key information resources at departmental
meetings
- Provide orientation programs for new department members, including
graduate students and staff
- Serve as your advocate in library purchasing decisions, e.g., books,
journals, online resources
