| Multimedia Services The library purchases multimedia materials and licenses web-based resources to support learning by Health Sciences Campus students, residents, faculty, and staff. Anatomical models of the female pelvis and breast and male genitals are included in the collection. Search HELIX, the online catalog for the Health Sciences Libraries, to find items in the library’s multimedia collection. To limit your retrieval to media, select Expert Search from the HELIX menu and restrict by format. Use the shift key to select multiple formats. Web-based resources are licensed for USC users and require a USC computer account or a USC network connection. Other multimedia items may be borrowed from the library Loan Desk. Most items are for use in the library for two hours. CME items may be borrowed for use at home for three days. Faculty may arrange to use materials for classroom instruction outside the library by contacting Lisa Kofman in the Technology Support Center at (323) 442-1968 or kofman@usc.edu.
