NCBI Field Guide Workshop Sponsored by USC Norris Medical Library and the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) instructors Dr. Peter Cooper and Simin Assadi will present "A Field Guide to GenBank and NCBI Molecular Biology Resources" at the USC Health Sciences Campus. The field guide provides a comprehensive overview on major NCBI databases and software tools, including GenBank, RefSeq, ENTREZ, BLAST, Cn3D, Map Viewer, genomes, etc. Spanning two days, it will consist of a lecture (3 hours, single session) and a hands-on workshop (2 hours, multiple sessions).
