The Norris Medical Library offers hands-on workshops to meet the information needs of faculty, staff and students. Workshops offered each quarter are determined by the interests of our users.

Technology Lunch Series

Learn about the latest technologies as you enjoy a pizza lunch.

  • Location: West Conference Room (unless otherwise noted)
  • Drop-ins welcome; no registration required
  • Workshop descriptions, including past Technology Lunch Series workshops
  • Free LUNCH provided (pizza, cookies, bottled water)
  • All Technology Lunch Series sessions are from Noon - 1:00 p.m.

Workshops by Request

The library designs customized workshops to meet the subject and scheduling needs of Health Sciences Campus classes and groups. Content can be drawn from one or more of our workshops or cover other topics of interest to the group. Schedule a customized workshop via the online form or contact the Educational & Research Services Division at 323-442-1483, medlib@usc.edu.

HouseCalls (individualized instruction)

Personalized consultations are available to Health Sciences Campus individuals through the library's House Call program. HouseCalls may take place in the library, requestor's HSC office, or virtually via web conferencing. Topics may include workshop topics or specific research needs such as database searching. Schedule a HouseCall via the online form or contact the Educational & Research Services Division at 323-442-1483, medlib@usc.edu.
