USC Logo
The USC Logo is the primary identifier for the university. The Logo can be
used in print and product applications, and it is the only mark that may be used
on university stationery. Because the USC Logo does not reproduce well onscreen,
it should not be used for the Web.
Guidelines:
- The USC Logo is designed to be used as one unit, not as separate letterforms
or elements.
- The letterforms "USC" have been hand-drawn specifically for the university;
therefore, you cannot substitute a typeface for them. The type within the lines
as well as the lines have also been specifically configured, and cannot be
altered or redrawn.
- The proportions of the graphic element should remain unaltered.
- The USC Logo must be clearly legible at all times.
- The USC Logo is the only mark that may be used on university stationery.
- Authorized School Logos may be used as a substitute for the USC Logo in
print materials and stationery, with one exception. School Logos may not be used
in lieu of the USC Logo on business cards.
- The USC Logo must be surrounded on all sides with a clear space that is
1/3rd the width of the marks themselves. This clear separation from all other
graphic elements provides graphic impact and preserves equity in the mark.
- The USC Logo must be reproduced from official artwork.
