Modem Pool Numbers
In an effort to improve connectivity services to the university, ITS has added additional dial-up numbers for those connecting around and outside the 213 area code.
Although ITS does not charge for this internet service, your phone company may charge for the call placed. You should check with your phone company to make sure the number you will be dialing is local; ITS will not be held accountable for phone charges, if any, that may result from connecting to the modem pool.

ITS does not provide out-of-state access numbers, nor does it provide a toll-free number (area codes 800, 888, 877, etc.) for modem pool access.
The availability of these numbers may change in the future if local telephone regulations are changed. 213-743-2222 will remain the primary dial-up number.
