Migration for SANDS |

The SANDS migration will begin November of 2002. Departments will be contacted individually in order to coordinate a migration date that works best for the department. We expect this migration to continue from now through the Spring Semester.
Departments with Mac users are encouraged to make arrangements before the December 1st 2002 campus wide removal of the IPX/Appletalk protocol. Mac users will only be able to access data on the old BMR servers via FTP after this date.
During the migration, we will continue to support the older Windows 95/NT workstations. However, after the July 1st 2003 we will provide applications and connectivity support only to Windows 2000 and above for PCs and OS 9.1 and above for Macs.
