This is a quick reference to the 1980 and 1990 Census files available in the Research Computing Facility (RCF).

Please note that these files were obtained from various third-party sources at USC, and in no case were Census tapes received at ITS directly from the Bureau of the Census. While these files are probably intact, as issued by the Bureau (or in the case of subsets such as the L.A. County STF1A file, the subsets are probably complete as such), their accuracy cannot be guaranteed by ITS. Users should perform checks and assure themselves that the data are accurate and appropriate for their needs.
