Statistics Packages

ITS maintains site licenses for microcomputer versions of several popular statistics packages. This software is available to USC faculty, staff and students at a fraction of its commercial or retail cost.

Site licenses automatically expire if annual renewal fees are not paid1 or the user terminates his/her affiliation with USC as student, faculty or staff. (One exception is that students purchasing an SPSS license may legally use the software after they leave USC.)

Statistical Software Pricing for Department Labs/LANS

ITS offers microcomputer versions of SAS and SPSS to USC labs and multi-user LANs in campus offices at reduced prices:

  • First 5 licenses: full price
  • Additional licenses: no charge

Special pricing is for on-campus labs or LANS. For further information and applications please call Customer Support at 213.740.5555.

  1. Applies only to software with an annual renewal fee. When no annual renewal fee is listed, update fees are required only to obtain new versions of software when they become available.
