SPSS is a powerful, comprehensive statistical analysis package. It was developed originally for use in Social Science research, hence the original name: Statistical Package for the Social Sciences. The UNIX version is available to users who have an RCF or SCF account. It is also available in a Macintosh or Windows version for use in the Public User Areas. Individual copies of the Macintosh and Windows versions also may be obtained by USC staff, student or faculty members at a reduced 'site-license' price from the ITS Customer Support Center.
