About EIS
Enterprise Information Systems (EIS), formerly known as Administrative Information Services (AIS), provides data processing services to academic and administrative departments that directly interface with and serve faculty, staff, students, and alumni. EIS provides direct services for about 50 departments within 12 divisions of the university, as well as to all departments that use the budget administration system or the paperless requisition system.
EIS supports and maintains numerous computer application systems for various university administrative units and departments. For a partial list of EIS supported application systems, data center services, and production services, please see the EIS Supported Services page.
In addition, EIS:

- Supports and maintains computer-related equipment that is used to house computer application systems written and maintained by EIS.
