Configuring Mobile Devices to Receive USC Email

This page provides the general email settings that you will need to access your USC email on a media-capable mobile device.

Information Technology Services (ITS) does not currently support configuring mobile devices to receive USC email, so this information is provided as a courtesy to USC faculty, staff, and students.

To access your USC email using a mobile device, please use the settings below.

USC Email General Settings

Account Name: Enter USC Email

Mail Protocol: Select IMAP

Username: Enter your USC username (for example: ttrojan).

Password: Enter your USC password.

Email Address: Enter your full USC email address (for example, ttrojan@usc.edu).

Incoming Mail Server: Enter email.usc.edu.

Incoming Mail Port: Enter 993 and select use SSL.

Outgoing Mail Server: Enter email.usc.edu

Outgoing Mail Port: Enter 465 and select use SSL.
