User Responsibilities
In Auditoria
- The setup, operation, and removal of all non-ITS Multimedia equipment. ITS Multimedia is not responsible for any customer-provided equipment unless prior arrangements have been made.
- The operation, care and safekeeping of any ITS Multimedia equipment. This includes any lectern-based equipment as well as non-lectern-based equipment provided as part of instructor's request.
- The timely reporting of any and all equipment defects to ITS Multimedia support staff.
- The acquisition by Faculty and their TAs of a basic knowledge of available AV equipment operation including the AMX Touch Panel residing in every ITS-managed auditorium.
In Classrooms
- The setup, operation, and removal of all will-call based equipment unless pre-arrangements have been made with ITS Multimedia staff.
Note: Computer carts are an exception as they are delivered, set-up and removed by ITS staff. Any non-ITS equipment will need to be setup, operated or removed by the owning department unless a prior arrangement with ITS Multimedia exists. - The timely reporting of any equipment defects to the ITS Multimedia support staff
- The acquisition by Faculty and TAs of the operational requirements of available cart-based and will-call equipment
- The acquisition by Faculty and Teaching Assistants of the location and operation of all room based resources such as Data Ports, Power Outlets, Light Switches and Volume Controls
