ITS Phone Conferencing Service Overview and Pricing (Plan A and Plan B)
This page provides information about two reservationless phone conferencing service plans offered by Information Technology Services.
PLAN A (6-way service, per month)

- Can be accessed internally with 5-digit dialing
Features
- One permanent conference phone number
- One permanent code that is used for both the host and the participants
- Access from on and off campus
- Up to 6 participants
Pricing
- A single monthly fee of $5.00
- A one-time setup fee of $11.00
PLAN B (12-way service, per minute)

Advantages
- Low cost
- No operator required (reservationless system)
- 24-7 access
- Easy, one-time set up
- No universal connectivity (UCC) charge
Features
- Two permanent call-in numbers (caller paid and toll free) *
- Two permanent codes: a chair code for the conference-call organizer and a personal code for the call participants.
- Calls can be made within the U.S. (including Hawaii and Alaska) and Canada
- Up to 12 participants
Pricing
Your department will be given two phone numbers to use: a caller-paid number and a toll-free number.
For caller-paid calls, the caller pays for the phone call but not the fee for the conference call. For toll-free calls, the conference organizer pays for both the phone call and the fee for the conference call. Conference-call fees are listed below.
- 2 cents per minute for caller-paid calls (213-xxx-xxxx)
- 3 cents per minute for toll-free calls (888-488-3171)
Setting Up Your Service
In order to set up your account, please fill out and submit the Communication Service Request (CSR) form. You will receive an email confirmation by the end of the next business day.
You will receive an electronic ITS phone conferencing card via email within five business days.
If you wish to start using your service before you receive your electronic phone conferencing card, please contact the Communications Services Group at 213-740-3814, at least one business day after submitting your CSR form, to request your call-in numbers and pass codes.
Electronic ITS Phone Conferencing Card
Your electronic phone conferencing card will include the following information:
- Two call-in numbers
- A personal code
- A conference ID
- A customer care phone number
- A chair code
