Global Directory Services (GDS)

The Global Directory Services (GDS) is an identity management tool that allows USC to synthesize identity information from multiple administrative systems of record and present a common view of that information for various applications and users. The GDS permits faculty, staff, and students to have single sign-on access to key university services ?- such as financial services, registration, and the MyUSC portal. The GDS allows departments and units more easily to target announcements and other services to specific groups, such as active students, faculty, or staff.
