ITS offers an excellent "live event" WebCasting service for the schools and departments of USC. We use the latest technology to provide a very dependable and cost-effective solution for delivering video over the Internet. To use this service you or your chosen vendor provide ITS with a video feed and ITS broadcasts the audio and video to your audience via the web. We can support up to 200 simultaneous WebCasting users at one time. During your webcast we will provide both low bandwidth video streams suitable for dial-up users and high-end streams suitable for people with fast Internet connections. During the live webcast, people may view the event using common viewing software including RealPlayer or WindowsMedia Player. At this time, we are upgrading our QuickTime facilities, and therefore the QuickTime format is not available.
USC's WebCasting service is only available on USC UPS and to the schools and departments of the University of Southern California. Fees for WebCasting vary depending on the time of day and duration of the webcast.

Standard Webcast
Monday through Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm

Charges for additional labor
Additional labor required for this service, above and beyond that provided as part of the webcast fee or quoted as part of the material and labor costs for connectivity installation, will be billed at a rate of $125.00 per hour for normal hours and $187.50 per hour for after hours, holidays and weekends.
Charges for expedited service
Webcast requests received less than a week prior to the webcast date will be subject to an expedited service charge of $250.00 over and above any other charges for the service. ITS cannot guarantee that webcast requests made with less than a week before the webcast can be honored.
Additional General Conditions and Considerations

- During the initial on-site visit, if acceptable CAT 5 or Fiber connections are in place, no additional charge to the customer will be incurred for connectivity
