911 Emergency Policy

Under the current 911 Emergency policy, the university can list only one physical address per telephone number. We cannot add extensions of analog lines in different rooms because the 911 database and the telephone company can display only one building and room per telephone number. The Los Angeles Police Department, Fire Department and Paramedics can be dispatched to only one location when contacted on an emergency.
