Placing Calls to USC Telephones
We encourage you to dial a five-digit extension number for the following campus area codes and prefixes:
Note: County Hospital requires dialing the seven-digit telephone number.

Receiving Calls from Non-USC Telephones
Non-USC callers can reach you by dialing your complete telephone number.
On the University Park campus (UPC), complete telphone numbers take the following forms: 213-740-XXXX, 213-743-XXXX, and 213-764-XXXX.
On the Health Sciences campus (HSC), telephone numbers are in the following format: 323-442-XXXX.
Be sure to include the proper area code (213 or 323) when giving off-campus callers your telephone number.
Placing Long-Distance Calls
A Long Distance Caller Identification Number (CID) must typically be used for long distance calls.
