Text Editors

There are many text editors that can be used on Unix systems. A few of the most popular editors in use at USC are emacs, pico, and vi.

UNIX is a case-sensitive operating system; when you enter the commands listed in any of the documenation, you must type them in the appropriate (upper or lower) case.
