The Basic Compute Facility

mizar.usc.edu is the server designated for basic computing for University Park campus faculty and staff. It acts as a time-sharing host and web server for all faculty/staff accounts. It can be accessed using ssh or sftp.

ITS's Current Systems Status Page will tell you approximately how many people are logged on to each host, as well as the current System Load.
