The Research Compute Facility

almaak.usc.edu is the server designated research and high-performance computing. It acts as a time-sharing host and web server for all research accounts. It can be accessed using ssh or sftp.

The Center for High Performace Computing and Communications consists of a diverse mix of computing and data resources supporting research in scientific computing, computer science and communications.

ITS's Current Systems Status Page will tell you approximately how many people are logged on to each host, as well as the current System Load.
