Publishing Student Organization Web Pages
This page is meant for recognized student organizations at USC who wish to set up an organizational email address and publish Web pages.
Student Organizational Accounts
Student organizations recognized by the university can apply for an account to be used for organizational email and web pages. The account will be located on the student web server, www-scf.usc.edu, but web pages will be included in the Search and Quickfind indexes on USCweb.
Account holders are responsible for adhering to university policies regarding student use of computing facilities and Web resources.
- A PDF form can be downloaded for requesting a student organizational account.
- Print out and complete the form.
- Have the form signed by your organization's faculty advisor.
- If the student organizational account is academic in nature, the authorized signer of the the affiliated department must also sign this application.
- Have the form signed by the Office for Student Affairs (TSC 104, 213-740-5693).
- Student organizational accounts must be renewed each academic year. To keep the organizational account active for the upcoming year, the recognition process must be completed by October 1. After October 1, any returning organization that has not become recognized for that academic year will have their organization's account privileges revoked. Additional information regarding student organizational account renewal is available through the Office for Student Affairs (TSC 104).
Organizational accounts will be set up within 2 weeks after all of the necessary paper work is received by the Computer Accounts Administration office.
Once your pages are up and working, please let the web team know about them. Use the Site Index Registration form to register your site.
