Determining your Mac OS X Version
To determining which version of Mac OS X you are running, refer to the following instructions.
About This Mac
- Under the Apple Menu select About this Mac.
Result: The About This Mac window appears (see Figure 1).

Figure 1 displays the Mac OS X version number circled in red.
Note: Older versions of the Mac OS may call the menu "About This Computer."
