// Visual and Virtual Paths to LA Community Archives and Collections //


The LA as Subject Virtual Brochure is based upon the exhibition Visual and Virtual Paths to L.A. Community Archives and Collections displayed at the University of Southern California's Doheny Memorial Library in Fall 2002. The exhibition brought together an array of historic photographs, documents, artifacts, publications, and ephemera to highlight many of the existing collections from LA as Subject Database's contributing institutions, organization, and artists. The exhibition also featured a virtual display of some of these items, which could be viewed on monitors within the exhibition space. We have turned this virtual display into an online brochure to present these materials to a wider viewing audience.
