Description: Daniel Muñoz's collection has books on the history of Los Angeles County; newspaper articles from Echo Park and other neighborhoods and cities in the count regarding hospitals, transportation, and many other subjects; City of Los Angeles directories from 1887 through 1940, with some years missing; Photographs of the Echo Park area; architecture books; Leo Politi children’s books; quarterlies from different historical societies; some maps of Los Angeles; and social club booklets. Archive has older maps, 1886 registry of voters for Los Angeles County, an 1888 City of Los Angeles Directory (only four in existence), panoramic views of Los Angeles, such as Angelino Heights, Silverlake and downtown, real estate atlas surveys of Los Angeles 1905 and 1923, and lots of rare books of limited printing.
