Archive and Collections

Description: Photo collection expands over 20 years and documents life in San Diego (where the individual started documenting the Chicano Movement - Chicano Park), on the life at the Malibu Pier (including some scenes from the Malibu fires) to life in downtown Los Angeles. There are several different types of images and subject matters. As a curator and a photographer for ULALA (United Latinos for the Arts in LA) in 1985 - 1991, Eriberto has also documented part of the Chicano Art Movement that took place at the PICO HOUSE. They included: photos of the artists involved in the process of creating art and exhibiting art. Some of these artists were: Alfredo Banuelos, Margaret Valverde, Isabel Martinez, graffiti artists: Slick, Duke, Hex, Mando and Skill. As curator for ULA LA Eriberto has selected to exhibit the works of many of the local Chicano artists.
