Description: The Baldwin Park Historical Society has more than one thousand representative artifacts for the period from 1850 to 1950 in Baldwin Park, a community that began as an agricultural area and was incorporated as a city in 1956. Included in the society's holdings are maps of the area, agricultural artifacts, clothing, radios, phonographs, and excellent historical sources. The society also maintains and frequently updates its collection of newspaper clippings, which date from Baldwin Park's incorporation to the present.
