Gifts and
Support
The Boeckmann Center
welcomes donations of library materials and external funding to assist
in developing and sustaining the Center's services and collections.
Book donations are regularly acknowledged from faculty, alumni, visiting
writers, and other friends of the Boeckmann Center, and through exchanges
with other libraries in the U.S. and abroad. Cataloging for the Boeckmann
Center's notable Central American holdings was assisted by a grant from
the U.S. Department of Education. Future acquisitions of Spanish and
Portuguese humanities materials will receive much needed support from
the Library's National Endowment for the Humanities Challenge Grant.
