Description: Broadsides and chapbooks by the famed Mexican graphic artist, documenting late 19th c and early 20th.c. Mexico. Collection includes Posada's art work, some with text in verse, depicting the calaveras on the Day of the Dead, a collection of religious figures such as the Virgen de Guadalupe, political satire, historical figures, games of chance, popular scandals of the times, atrocities such as earthquakes and fires, and educational domestic items.
