website provides information about Lion Feuchtwanger, his vast library
(the Lion Feuchtwanger Memorial Library), detailed descriptions of his
archive, and selective facsimiles of archival material available in the
Feuchtwanger Memorial Library. The collection also includes photographs,
film footage, and audio recordings.
Lion Feuchtwanger
(1884-1958) was a German Jewish emigre writer who fled Europe during
World War II and lived in Los Angeles from 1941 until his death.
