Forest Lawn Memorial Park

Forest Lawn was developed by Hubert Eaton in 1917 who took over a struggling cemetery in 1913 and built it into a world-famous, if controversial, final resting place. His concept included no "unsightly" tombstones and a philosophy of cemeteries depicting a beginning rather than an ending.

The cemetery occupies over 300 acres of beautifully landscaped land, with magnificent buildings, and classic statuary. It is located at 1712 Glendale Avenue in Glendale.
