Casa de Adobe

The Casa de Adobe is a reconstruction of an early California residence, and was completed about the end of World War I; furnishing it was more difficult, apparently, because it did not open until about 1925.

It has about two dozen rooms, so it is certainly not modelled after a low-income family. But the furnishings are authentic; in fact 2 of the bedrooms contain furnishings used by the Sepulveda and Pico families.

Casa de Adobe is located at 4603 North Figueroa Street in Highland Park.
