St. John's Episcopal Church, located at 514 W. Adams Boulevard, was
patterned after an 11th century Florentine edifice, the Church of San
Minato.
The exterior is largely unadorned, while the interior has
beautifully carved ornamentation, including a wooden Christus at the altar.
The ceiling of the main auditorium is a copy of that of the church in
Florence.
