This resource was turned
BLACK between 2/8 - 2/10
in protest of the Telecommunications Bill

I joined the protest against the Communications Decency Act signed into law by President Clinton on 2/8 as part of the Telecommunications Bill; it undoubtedly intends massive censorship of the Internet. I believe this resource will face censure under this new legislation.

I will continue to work on efforts to overturn this draconion aspect of the legislation. I have joined the ACLU suit against the legislation with Wildcat Press (see the ACLU link below) which publishes YouthArts for which I am Webweaver. YouthArts is a gay, lesbian, and bisexual youth resource we believe will face censure under the new legistlation.

I urge everyone to stay on top of this legislation and to join the activities on the Net and elsewhere to challenge it's consitutionality. Don't give in to the Right's efforts to censor our lives!
