3:05 Camille Saint-Saens, Danse Macabre. Soloist appears on-stage in an empty concert hall. Other members of concert hall staff are shown preparing for the evening's event.

6:05 Darius Milhaud, Le Boeuf sur le Toit. A woman dressed in black leather and fishnet stockings sits on stage caressing her cello while an excluseively male audience watches with rapt attention.
