    American Rhetoric contains over 5,000 public speeches, sermons, legal proceedings, lectures, etc. in such categories as speeches by Pres. Obama, movie speeches, and the top 100 American political speeches of the 20th century. Most are available in audio and/or video plus their transcripts. Those addresses given prior to 1900 have transcripts only.The site includes a list of major journals in communication, with links to their websites.As this is a commerical site, the ads can be annoying.

It indexes 1,100 of the world's leading arts and humanities journals, as well as covering individually selected, relevant items from over 6,800 major science and social science journals.

    This database is part of USC's subscription to the Web of Science.

    The AHCI is also available in print in the Doheny Reference Center.
