Marking the one-year anniversary of her arrival at the university, Dean Catherine Quinlan gave her State of the Libraries address in Doheny Library. Speaking to an audience of libraries faculty and staff, Quinlan emphasized the theme of focus while implementing the objectives in the USC Libraries' strategic plan.

Dean Quinlan Sends Open Letter to the USC Community

Catherine Quinlan announces the new organizational structure for the USC Libraries, including the Dean's Cabinet and the branch library heads. The administrative structure emphasizes customer service, defining clear lines of authority and responsibility for libraries faculty and staff and the university community.

Catherine Quinlan Installed as Dean of the USC Libraries

USC President Steven B. Sample installed Catherine Quinlan as the new dean of the USC Libraries on October 2.

More than 190 USC trustees, administrators, and library supporters, faculty, and staff joined Sample in welcoming Quinlan, who assumed leadership of the USC Libraries on August 1.
