NACHO was "a conference of independent homophile organizations in North America established to discuss, plan and coordinate, as well as implement, strategy and tactics in the fight to improve the status of the homosexual as a homosexual." The bulk of the collection comprises records of NACHO's six conferences held between 1966 and 1970.
