The Friends of the USC Libraries are pleased to announce the winners of the Library of the Future contest.
What will library buildings look like in 2025? Will they resemble traditional library architecture? How will we use technology to find information and create knowledge? As that same technology alters the social dynamics of campus life, what will it mean to "meet in the library to study?"
Trojan futurists set out to answer these questions, unveiling their ideas at the awards ceremony in Doheny Library during Parents Weekend. The panel of judges awarded the grand prize to Anisha Agarwal, Anupam Jain, Anuradha Mohan, and Anamika Singla of Team Acer.
The judges were USC School of Architecture professor Christoph Kapeller, online news producer Jenn McBride from CBS 2 and KCAL 9 and USC Libraries senior associate dean Marje Schuetze-Coburn.
