Designed primarily to support events that require multimedia display, and secondarily to enhance campus life through educational and cultural events.
The Auditorium has audience seating for 49 people. Priority scheduling will be given for events with multimedia needs. One-time class meetings and events sponsored by USC faculty, staff or student organizations qualify for use in the Auditorium. Specifically excluded are courses and/or events for an entire semester.
As a teaching library, Leavey is the primary campus venue supporting information literacy education. Priority scheduling is given to librarian-led instruction sessions requested by teaching faculty. Each class or organization is limited to 3 reserved sessions per semester, except by waiver from the Director of Leavey Library.

Reservations must be made via the online form at least 7 business days in advance. Walk-in reservation requests will not be accepted.
Reservations will be accepted beginning on the following dates for the corresponding semesters:
- Fall: August 1
- Spring: December 1
- Summer 2014: Leavey Library Auditorium will be closed for renovation.

It is the user's responsibility to obtain approval from the department head or faculty member prior to making the reservation. The department head or faculty member will be held responsible for loss or damage to the room and its equipment during the session.
All reservations are subject to Leavey Library administrative approval. The Director of Leavey Library reserves the right to cancel reservations in the event of extenuating circumstances.
To check space availability for a particular date, please go to uscschedule.usc.edu. Note: Reservation requests are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. In some cases, it is possible that a particular date and time may have already been reserved when we receive your request. If so, you will be asked to submit a new request.
To cancel a reservation, please notify Linda Mitchell at (213) 740-0126 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have not arrived within 15 minutes of your reservation start time, the reservation will be cancelled so the room can be made available for others.
Users must contact Leavey prior to the event for information about equipment capabilities or to arrange training.
Please report any equipment malfunctions to the Leavey circulation desk, the reference desk in the Lower Commons or the Administrative Office (LVL 113).
Please leave the Auditorium in clean and in good condition. All areas must be properly restored after the event and the projector switched off. Repeated abuse may result in suspension of reservation privileges. Any materials left in the rooms will be discarded.
