Brighde Mullins’ plays have been developed and produced at the Magic Theatre, Lincoln Center Theatre, Mabou Mines, New York Theatre Workshop, New York Stage & Film, and the Public Theatre, among others. They include Monkey in the Middle; Those Who Can, Do; Rare Bird; Fire Eater; Topographical Eden; and Pathological Venus. Her poems have appeared in The Best of the Best American Poetry and many journals. Awards include a Whiting Writers’ Award, an NEA Literature Fellowship, and the Will Glickman Award. She is a member of the PenWest board. Mullins has taught creative writing at Harvard University, Brown University, and CalArts and is currently the director of the USC Master of Professional Writing Program.
