Warren Bennis, whom Forbes refers to as “dean of the leadership gurus,” is University Professor and founding chairman of the Leadership Institute at USC. He is also chairman of the advisory board of the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard’s Kennedy School and Distinguished Research Fellow at Harvard Business School. Bennis has written numerous books on leadership, change, and creative collaboration. He is a consultant for many Fortune 500 companies and has served on four U.S. presidential commissions. His book Leaders was designated by the Financial Times as one of the all-time top fifty business books, and his essay collection An Invented Life was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. His thirtieth and most recent book is Still Surprised: A Memoir of a Life in Leadership.
