Lynda Obst, producer and author, has made 15 films in her producing career, at almost every major studio, and currently has a first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television. Obst's most recent film was the Warner Bros. release The Invention of Lying. She is currently is an executive Producer on TVLAND's Hot In Cleveland. Her other credits include Adventures in Babysitting, The Fisher King, This Is My Life, Sleepless in Seattle, The Siege, Hope Floats, One Fine Day, Someone Like You, Contact, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and Abandon. She also executive-produced NBC's Emmy Nominated two-part miniseries The 60s. She is author of the best-selling Hello, He Lied: And Other Truths from the Hollywood Trenches and writes frequently about the business for magazines and periodicals. She is currently writing a blog for The Atlantic Culture Channel.
