Schickel

Richard Schickel is the author, co-author, or editor of more than-thirty five books, among them definitive biographies of Elia Kazan, D.W. Griffith, and Walt Disney. He is also the producer-writer-director of a similar number of documentary films. He reviewed movies, first for Life, then for Time, from 1965 through 2008. Over the years, his essays, reviews, and articles have appeared in more than seventy national publications.
