NANCY KEYSTONE is a theatre director/playwright/designer, and visual artist, and in 2011 was named a United States Artists Hoi Fellow. In Los Angeles, she is the founder/artistic director of Critical Mass Performance Group, whose latest multi-disciplinary work is the epic trilogy, Apollo. The company is currently developing an adaptation of Alcestis, which began at the Getty Villa Theatre Lab, and Ameryka, which explores the relationship of the U.S. and Poland. As a freelance artist, she has directed and designed dozens of theatre productions around the country, as well as opera and film. She is the 2003 recipient of Theatre Communications Group’s Alan Schneider Director Award, and has received fellowships from the Drama League of New York, and California Community Foundation. She is a member of the visiting faculty at UCLA, is a frequent university guest lecturer, and an instructor in arts-in-education programs nationwide. www.nancykeystone.com
