Collections
Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the American Studies and Ethnicity program, the American Studies and Ethnicity collection is located in the Edward L. Doheny Jr. Library, the Applied Social Sciences Library, the Leavey Library and other libraries. The collection supports teaching and research for the undergraduate and graduate programs in American Studies & Ethnicity, and overlaps with many other subject areas in social sciences, arts and humanities and subject areas of professional schools, such as Cinema/TV, Communication and Law. The interdisciplinary nature of this subject provides the special focus for collecting print, electronic and multimedia materials for teaching and research.
