Collections

  • The Chemistry collection emphasizes the Chemistry Department's areas of specialization: Biological Chemistry, Chemical Physics, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry. It supports the teaching and research through the doctoral level and beyond in the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences Chemistry Department, as well as specialized research centers, including the Loker Hydrocarbon Research Institute , the Center for the Study of Fast Transient Processes, and the Laboratory for Molecular Robotics.
  • The principal Chemistry collection is in the Science & Engineering Library; Infrequently-used materials, paper journals for which we have electronic access, USC theses and dissertations: Grand Avenue Library; New Chemistry Books are in the new books section on Floor One, to the right of the stairwell. New books may be checked out.
