Doing Research with USC Collections
Most of the information listed below can be accessed through the USC Libraries web site, http://www.usc.edu/libraries.
- To find books and location of journals (but not articles): use HOMER, the USC Libraries catalog.
- To find articles, start with the MLA Bibliography and with JSTOR.
- To find dissertations and theses use Proquest and select "Dissertations and Theses" from the drop down menu.
Materials on Comparative Literature are located primarily in Edward L. Doheny Jr. Memorial Library. Books and journals are also found in the Philosophy, Special Collections, East Asian, Architecture and Fine Arts, and Grand Avenue Libraries. The collection supports teaching and research through the masters level and beyond.
The collection supports most West European languages, as well as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
