Collections
The Religion collection is located in Edward L. Doheny Jr. Memorial Library. Books dealing with religious work with the aged are located in the Andrus Gerontology Library, and books dealing with contemporary activity of churches or other religious groups in politics are located in the Von KleinSmid Center Library. The religion collection supports teaching and research through the graduate level in the following areas of specialization:
- American Religions including Methodism
- Bible New Testament
- Buddhism
- Christianity
- Dead Sea Scrolls
- Ethics
- Hinduism
- Islam
- Liberation theology
The collection also supports teaching and independent study through the undergraduate level in all areas of Religion.
