Overview
The Social Sciences Team is comprised of 14 library faculty dedicated to meeting the curricular and research needs of the USC community by providing reference, instruction and collection development in the social sciences.
The Mission of the Social Sciences Team:
- To maximize existing resources for the purpose of a centralized, comprehensive, unified approach to collection development and public services
- To support the research and curricular needs of the Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies;
- To build cross-disciplinary knowledge base among team members;
- To provide an underlying structure for a unified intellectual concept of the library so it plays a defined integral role in support of the USC and USC Libraries strategic plans
